Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model as well as an animal rights activist in America. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was raised by an artistic family from New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. Her two first films were noticed and she received an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. She was named the best female box-office star of the world in just three movies. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she was able to have her signature and hand-footprints engraved. She was a part of several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
