Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in America for more than forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. In 1956, she had her breakthrough on Broadway along with Li'l abner. Her first music album It's Time for Tina during the same year. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre, a dramatic film that debuted in 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise received her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship to Lee Strasberg. Louise joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters in order to dispel her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made an impact as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural and The 100. The family she was born into moved out of Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has been settling down to Toronto since then.
